Oana Bernard is Medical Doctor by education, specialized in Medical Biology. She also holds a PhD in osteoarticular Biology. She has served several years as Assistant Professor at hospital (APHP), having research, laboratory and teaching activities, before joining the pharmaceutical industry in 2003.
She developed a solid experience of 20 years in R&D at Servier, holding several positions from Project leader – Project Director to growing leadership positions of Director clinical development in various therapeutic areas such as rheumatology, diabetes and metabolism, rare/orphan inflammatory diseases. Over the last years, she enlarged her area of expertise, being Director of Translational and Clinical Research Metabolism, Medico-scientific Director R&D, Patient-Officer-Clinical Research R&D, and Director Pediatrics R&D.
Passionate for science and the discovery of new applications and promising health solutions, she is now Chief Scientific Officer at Biocodex.
